■ Eligibility Requirements

Pre JuniorⅠDivision : Ages 9-10 (Jan 1, 2009~Dec 31, 2010)

Pre JuniorⅡDivision : Ages 11-12 (Jan 1, 2007~Dec 31, 2008)

Junior Division : Ages 13-15 (Jan 1, 2004~Dec 31, 2006)

Senior I Division : Ages 16-18 (Jan 1, 2001~Dec 31, 2003)

Senior　II Division : Ages 19-26 (Jan 1, 1997~Dec 31, 2000)

Pas de deux/Duets : Ages 14-26 (Jan 1, 1994~Dec 31, 2005)

■ Competition Procedure

▸ Preliminary round

*ISKBC automatically accepts laureates of Grand Prix, gold(first prize), silver(second prize), bronze(third prize) medal at International Ballet Competitions. Instead of video files, applicants must submit copies of their award diplomas and application forms, along with other supporting documents.

▸ Semi-Final/Final * CLASSICAL BALLET

Except for <Pre-Junior I> must be chosen from the list of Classical Ballet repertoire

▸ Semi-Final/Final * CONTEMPORARY DANCE

*Note:

1. The competition programme consists of CLASSICAL BALLET and CONTEMPORARY DANCE, but is optional, not mandatory.

2. Competitors may perform multiple entries in all categories.

3. Competitors can compete as a Solo or Pas de deux /Duet each round,　however, ＜Pre-Junior　I＞ can participate only as a Solo.　

4. Pas de deux/Duet couples will be judged individually by male/female　in each division. 　

5. Non-competing partner may participate as a partner for Pas de deux/Duet.

6. The order of appearance on stage will be determined by age of the competitors (from youngest to oldest).

7. For couples, the number of the female competitors will be used.

Registration　: March 1. 2019 ~ April 6. 2019 PM 18:00

*Note: The competition is reserving the right to close the application process if the numbers of competitors for each category/division was reached before deadline of the application.

*Selection: Competitors will be chosen by the Selection Committee based on their applications. The results of Selection Committee will reply to each individual by email.

Photographs should be at high resolution quality or at least 300 dpi

* Competitors may perform multiple entries in all categories.

* Fees to be transferred before July 5, 2019 to the following BANK INFORMATION (Please include only the name and surname of the Competitors when sending the payments and fees.)

■ Rules

Workshop

•Competitors are required to take workshop class. Jury members will observe and take into account all participants through classes.

Music

•Competitors must provide their own music material, in MP3 format

•All files should be marked with the competitors name, category, division and title of work (Mari OO-Ballet-Senior I-Harlequinade)

•Competitors must prepare copy of all music files on CD or USB.

•Good quality recordings are to be sent to the Competition email address ibaainfo@naver.com

Costumes

•Competitors should provide their own costumes and make-up

Semi-final: No Makeup with costumes

Final: Makeup with costumes

Rehearsal

•open stage will be provided 20 minutes before each round

Rights and copyright

•The copyright of the performance video and the photograph is on the organizer.

•Competitorswill need to accept the interview and photo shoot.

•All photographs and video shoots shall be subject to the prior consent of the organizer.

•The participant can not claim any monetary compensation for any event during the competition.

Arrive & Travel

•Competitors must arrive by July 24, 2019.

•Everything is self-sufficiency (Airlines, Accommodation)

Insurance

•ISKBC does not take responsibility for any previous injuries, accident. Competitors must purchase their own insurances for accidents, medical and travel insurance.
